Gündüz Kuşağı Emmy Ödülleri’nde En İyi Eğlence Talk Şovu dalında “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” ödüle uzanırken, “The View” adlı program En İyi Bilgilendirici Talk Şov dalında ödülü aldı.
En İyi Yarışma Programı dalında bu ödülü 17. kez kazanarak bir rekora imza atan “Jeopardy” (bizde “Riziko” adıyla yapılmıştı) ipi göğüsledi. Yarışmanın sunucusu Alex Trebek de En İyi Yarışma Programı Sunucusu ödülüne layık bulundu.
